Why We Exist
Absence isn't always visible, but it's always felt
After years working closely with young people, we kept seeing the same reality: many came from homes without guidance, direction, or anywhere to feel heard. Some had a family that looked present from the outside, yet they were growing up alone on the inside.

Our Story
It all began by opening the doors of a home
I always felt responsible for speaking up for those who were rejected, mistreated, or ignored.
By age 12, our founder was already standing up for classmates facing bullying or emotional abuse at school. Years later, serving as a youth leader and minister, she saw up close what many teenagers were carrying, and found a clear direction: to devote herself to the ones few people are willing to invest time, resources, and love in.
She opened the doors of her own home to offer a safe space. There she walked alongside young people through their personal journeys for about 3 years, before formalizing the organization. Some moved on with their lives, others are still part of the community, and several have already started their own ventures. standuptogether grew out of that.
